Puppet Competition Finale 2026

As proud winners of the 2026 EDB Annual Puppetry Competition we were invited to perform at the closing ceremony at the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. After receiving our first prize award we set up the puppet tent with our homemade backdrops and brought our puppets to life to perform in front of a full house. After overcoming a few nerves and wishing each other to “BREAK A LEG” we brought the house down!What a great experience for our puppet team; Mandy, Bethany, Jawaria, Charlotte, Aayat, Angie and Alwyn. Our puppet teams hard work, dedication, talent and enthusiasm made winning the first prize possible for the second consecutive year.Titled Goldilocks and The Three Laughing Bears our puppet show recounts four examples of Zen wisdom within 7 minutes.
